Homemade Salsa

Ingredients

  • 3 Tomatoes chopped
  • 3 jalapenos chopped & seeded
  • 1/2 medium sized onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves (or 1 Tablespoon minced garlic)
  • 1-2 tablespoon double concentrated tomato paste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • juice from one small lemon
  • juice from one small lime

Instructions

  1. Give the tomatoes, jalapenos, and onion all a rough chop. Seed the jalapenos unless you like it HOT! Toss all ingredients in a blende or food processor. My blender has a chop and stir setting which is what I use. Do not over mix or you salsa will turn out soupy. I like to chill my salsa to let the flavors develop for at least an hour.
